PP-17 is a single-column distillation system designed to run in either a stand-alone mode or attached to a hydrocracking unit. The main purpose is to fractionate a multicomponent hydrocarbon mixture into two boiling ranges. It is designed to operate at atmospheric pressures, which means cuts are made between 80°C and 400°C. The unit is not computer controlled.
