NCUT provides support for clients who would like to
expand their commercial heavy oil upgrading or refining
operations. These projects typically include five components:
- using NCUT’s scale up expertise to plan experimental
work properly so that the generated results predict
closely the performance of the reactors being designed;
- conducting these experiments in NCUT’s state-of-the-art
pilot plant equipment, and providing analytical results
using ASTM methods, as well as sophisticated analytical
techniques developed at NCUT;
- conducting exhaustive analyses of the experimental
results for consistency and correctness;
- carrying out and reporting kinetics analyses and
kinetics model fitting;
- doing process model fitting.
