| NCUT’s resid hydrocracker is PP-5, a bench-scale reactor system that consists of two reactors
(either tubular or CSTR), a hot separator, and a cold
separator. PP-5 can be configured to simulate visbreaking,
fouling and hydrocracking of heavy material. There is a
facility to inject water and /or additives into the feed
stream and mix it in a disperser. It is normally operated
in an up-flow mode but can be configured for down flow
or counter current.
Operated by NCUT’s experienced staff, this unit
has consistently generated precise data on yield distribution,
gas make, and hydrogen consumption. Click

PP-5.
